Hotel "Mars" in the past, which has become a comfortable home for more than 250 refugees from Ukraine.

How it all started

Dům Dobra Vršovice is a former hotel “Mars”, that was converted into a house for refugees. During the first days after receiving the building we accommodated 100 people who had to spend their night in the building of the Congress Center.

Thanks to our cooperation with the development company Gartal, which provided us with a building in good condition, we opened the Dům Dobra in the shortest possible time. Within two weeks we managed to furnish the rooms with bunk beds and other necessary amenities.

What we provided

Dům Dobra Vršovice is a dormitory for mothers and children with the following facilities:

  • Sleeping space in a room for 4-6 people
  • Common shower and toilet in the room
  • Common kitchen with dining area in the hallway which is equipped with stove, oven, refrigerators and all necessary utensils
  • Shared laundry room on the floor where you can find 4 washing machines, powder and dryers.

The Dům Dobra Vršovice is open only to refugees who have obtained a special visa. When you move in, you get acquainted with the rules of dorminority and we’re gonna provide you with basic necessities.
